The Fade

Taken from the Robert Jordan series of novels, the Wheel of Time saga, I did this painting as a supposition of what a Fade or Myrrdraal might look like. Known as the Eyeless, these monsters inspire fear with their blank gaze and have the ability to actually travel through shadows. It's kind of a dark piece and may need to have the brightness on your screen turned up a bit to see all the visuals of the piece, but I felt that it should be that dark. It was 100% digital from start to finish, and one of the few pieces I have ever done without linework.
